# Can sole traders use the service?

> ⚡ **Quick Answer:** Yes. Sole traders can use the Virtual Office London plan on the same terms as limited companies. You'll use our address for your business correspondence, and your mail is scanned and available under the **Mail** tab in your portal.

# How It Works for Sole Traders

You sign up for the **Virtual Office London** plan and use the address at **66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA** for business purposes.

Your mail should be addressed using your name and trading name:

**Your Name trading as Your Business Name**
66 Paul Street

EC2A 4NA

For example: **John Doe trading as JD IT**

Yes. You can use it as your business address for Self Assessment and correspondence.

**Do I need a trading name to sign up?**
No. You can sign up under your personal name. Adding a trading name is optional.

**Will mail addressed to both my personal name and my trading name be handled under one plan?**
Yes. Mail addressed to either your personal name or your trading name will be accepted and processed under the same account.

**Is the pricing the same as for limited companies?**
Yes. The Virtual Office London plan is priced the same regardless of business type.

**Can I add a Director's Service Address?**
No — that's for limited company directors only. As a sole trader, you don't have a Companies House director listing.
