# How can I update my trading name on my account?

# How It Works

* Email support with the new trading name you want on your account
* Your trading name can be updated **without** changing your legal company name
* If your legal company name has also changed, that can be updated separately

# Key Details

* Your account can have **one legal company name** and **up to two trading names**
* A trading name must belong to the same company — a separate company cannot be added as a trading name
* Mail can be accepted under your **personal name**, **registered company name**, and any **trading names** added to the same account
* If you signed up before your company was incorporated, send your Companies House number after registration so the account can be updated
* In some cases, invoices can show both the legal company name and the trading name

**Can I have more than two trading names?**
The standard limit is two trading names per account. Contact support if you need more.

**Does this affect my registered office address?**
No. Your registered office address remains **66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA**.

**Will mail under the old trading name still be accepted?**
Check with support — they can advise on how name changes affect mail delivery.
