# How do I verify my identity for the Hoxton Mix service?

# What You Need to Submit

You must provide **two documents**:

1. **Proof of ID** — a non-expired photo ID from the list below
2. **Proof of address** — one document from the list below

Documents must be copies of the originals. Upload through the secure verification link or your account dashboard — no need to email them unless specifically asked.

## Accepted Proof of ID

* Passport
* Driving licence with photocard
* National identity card
* HM Forces identity card

## Accepted Proof of Address Documents

Your proof of address must show the director's name and residential address.

### Dated within the last 3 months

* Utility bill (gas, electricity, water)
* Payslip
* Valid home or vehicle insurance certificate
* Landline or mobile phone bill
* Bank or building society statement, including credit card or store card bill

### Dated within the last 12 months

* Council tax bill
* TV licence
* Council or housing association rent card or tenancy agreement
* Tenancy agreement from a recognised estate agent
* Mortgage statement
* P45 or P60 statement
* Financial statement, such as a pension or endowment statement
* Letter from the Benefits Agency or benefits book
* HM Revenue and Customs documents, such as a Notice of Coding or Self Assessment document
* Student hall of residence agreement or other proof of accommodation
* Election ballot card
* NHS medical card or letter of registration for a GP practice

Any one document from the accepted list can be used as proof of address. For overseas directors, documents such as a recent **bank statement** or **utility bill** from their home country are accepted as long as they meet the date requirements above.

> ⚠️ **Important:** Verification is required for **each subscription**. If you open a new account or add another company, you must upload ID and proof of address again for that company, even if you have already completed verification for another Hoxton Mix account.

* Reviews usually take **up to one business day**
* ID and proof of address may be reviewed separately
* Your account or mail release is only approved once **all** required checks are complete
* If a document is not accepted, you'll be asked to resubmit

Any mail received before verification is complete is held securely and released once checks are approved.
