How do I change my registration from sole trader to a Limited Company?

If your limited company has already been registered, you can ask us to update your existing account from sole trader to limited company. Send your request from the email address registered on your account and include your company name and company number. Once the company number is added, the company name will update on the account.

If needed, you can also provide your incorporation date, legal name, and updated business description so the account details can be fully updated. Please note that once an account has been changed from sole trader to limited company, it cannot be changed back to sole trader on the same account.
