Proof of Identity (Photo ID)

Quick Answer: You need a valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID (passport, driving licence, national ID card, or residence permit). Upload it through the secure Veriff link sent to your email.

Why It’s Required

As part of our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) obligations, we must verify the identity of every Person of Significant Control (PSC) or Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO). We may also verify directors or authorised representatives where required by our risk assessment.

  2. Upload your chosen photo ID
  3. Complete the liveness and facial-match check using your camera
  4. Results are reviewed by our compliance team

Verification typically takes up to one business day.

After the Veriff step, you may be returned to the customer portal to continue the process.

Troubleshooting

Issue

Solution

Photo upload rejected

Ensure all corners and text are visible, no glare or reflection

Verification failed

Try a different ID type (e.g., passport instead of driving licence)

Name mismatch

The name on your ID must match the PSC/UBO records

🛡️ Your ID is used only for verification and compliance purposes and is stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR.

Common Questions

Can I use a driving licence as proof of address?
