Can You List Your Business on Google Maps with a Virtual Office?

Quick Answer: No. A virtual office address cannot be listed on Google Maps. Google requires a staffed, customer-facing location. Our address is for registered office and mail handling only — not for Google Business Profile listings.

Why Virtual Offices Can't Be Listed on Google Maps

Google Business Profile requires that listed addresses are physically staffed during posted hours and open to customers. A virtual office used for mail handling and administration does not meet this requirement.

⚠️ Important: You must not use your Hoxton Mix address for a Google Business Profile. Doing so may result in your listing being suspended or removed by Google.

What's not allowed

  • Using the address on a Google Business Profile
  • Filming or photographing our premises for Google verification
  • Adding signage to the building entrance for Google or Google Ads verification
  • Using the address on utility bills or documents to suggest you are physically based here

When a Co-Working Space May Qualify

If your business operates from a dedicated co-working space (not a virtual office), Google may allow a listing — provided you meet all of the following:

Requirement

Detail

Physical presence

Permanent, designated space within the facility

Staffed during posted hours

Someone from your business must be on-site

Direct phone number

Your own number, not the co-working space's main line

Accurate address

Include your suite or office number

Visible signage

Google prefers signage at the location

💡 Tip: The Hoxton Mix virtual office does not qualify as a co-working space for Google Maps purposes. If you need a co-working desk or office, that is a separate service.
