How It Works

- Your trading name can be updated without changing your legal company name
- If your legal company name has also changed, that can be updated separately

- Your account can have one legal company name and up to two trading names
- A trading name must belong to the same company — a separate company cannot be added as a trading name
- Mail can be accepted under your personal name, registered company name, and any trading names added to the same account
- If you signed up before your company was incorporated, send your Companies House number after registration so the account can be updated
- In some cases, invoices can show both the legal company name and the trading name
