How long do I have to collect my post?

Quick Answer: You have 30 days from the date of notification to collect or arrange forwarding of your post. After 30 days, uncollected items are securely shredded.

After you receive an email notification that mail is available, you have 30 days to:


  • Collect in person at our office during business hours
  • Arrange forwarding to your address (standard postage + 50p handling charge per letter)

If mail remains uncollected and forwarding has not been arranged, items are securely shredded and recycled. This ensures privacy and keeps the service running efficiently.


⚠️ Important: We cannot retrieve items after the 30-day period. Arrange collection or forwarding promptly after receiving your notification.

How much does forwarding cost?

Standard postage rate plus a 50p handling charge per letter. With the UK Mail Forwarding add-on, mail is forwarded automatically at no per-letter charge.


Are digitised copies still available after 30 days?

Yes. Scanned copies remain accessible under the Mail tab in your portal beyond the physical retention period.
