How to Update Your Forwarding Number
- Log in to the Customer Portal
- On the homepage, find the WhatsApp Business Number section
- Click Manage next to Forwarding Number
- Enter your new forwarding number
- Confirm and save
Understanding Your Numbers
- Virtual landline number — the number your customers dial (e.g., 0204 5380 688)
- Forwarding number — the mobile or landline that receives the redirected calls
⚠️ Important: Make sure you share your virtual landline number with customers, not your forwarding number.
Troubleshooting Call Forwarding
- Make sure you’re calling the virtual landline number, not the forwarding number
- You cannot test by calling the virtual number from the same phone it forwards to — use a different phone
- If calls ring or reach voicemail on the forwarding handset, forwarding is working
- Turn off call screening on the forwarding handset and test again
- If calls still don’t connect, the virtual landline may need to be reactivated
