Can I add a second Director?

How to Add a Director or Owner


  1. Log in to the Customer Portal
  2. Add the new director or beneficial owner through the portal
  3. They’ll need to complete KYC and AML verification via Veriff



What They’ll Need


Proof of Identity (one of):

  • Passport
  • National Identity Card
  • UK or EU Residence Permit


Proof of Address (dated within last 3 months):

  • Utility bill (gas, electricity, water, landline)
  • Bank or building society statement
  • Council tax bill (current year)
  • Mortgage statement or tenancy agreement
  • HMRC or DWP correspondence

Removing a Director


To remove someone from your account:


  1. Contact support with the company name and email address to remove
  2. If the person is a business owner, a replacement must first be added and verified
  3. Payment methods should be updated before the handover
  4. Support will then remove the previous user and update correspondence

How many directors can I have?

There’s no fixed limit. Each must complete KYC verification if they are a PSC/UBO.


Does the new director need their own login?

Support can set up access and send a verification link for the new person.


What about the Director’s Service Address add-on?

If you need the new director’s home address hidden on Companies House, add the Director’s Service Address add-on (£3/month or £30/year per director).
